I decided that my dream job is being an entrepreneur because you're able to make a positive change in the world. Unfortunately I've encountered a lot of "trash" and I've bought some of that too. And that really shocked me the first time. I think I need something, because they told me so and now my $359 is gone. I've gotten somewhat paranoid and extremely careful with how I spend my money online.

A lot of people struggle in life. And the solution is always knowledge. People don't realize how important knowledge is. The story goes.. I went to college, they gave me knowledge, I got a job. And that's the end of their learning process. I never had to convince myself that learning or knowledge are meaningful. I look at Richard Feynman or Elon Musk or Bill Gates, and it's obvious to me. All of their success is based on knowledge. Even for monks.
Let me give you a few examples, so it can become obvious to you.
Inventor
A lot of people believe that inventors need creativity. And those people are correct.
But creativity always builds on top of knowledge. So you actually need both.
Software Engineer
Those people used to be called smart, and they are still very well paid.
You need to know programming languages, techniques, and learn rapidly.
Artist
Surprisingly, artists are very knowledgeable. But their knowledge is intuitive.
They also learn techniques, different ways of drawing or painting, but it's knowledge.
Architect
Of course you need careful hands, but nobody is born with these abilities.
You learn imagination, learn about buildings and history, a lot of knowledge.
Leader
People like Donald Trump are very knowledgeable. They know about people.
Social knowledge is rarely seen that way, but it is very much knowledge.
Medical Doctor
This one is quite obvious. You need to remember a lot, which can also be learned.
Some people know every bone in the body. Some know 10,000 digits of pi.
Entrepreneur
I am very sure of my opinion here, which is that - this is the most difficult job. By far.
A lot of people are becoming "solopreneurs" or digital entrepreneurs, online millionaires.
There's very few people guiding you, if any. Most people consider it stressful or lonely.
It's easy to burn out when creating something good or being honest isn't good enough.
You have to find people, you have to understand them, you have to know them better than they know themselves. It's almost like being a psychologist, except they don't understand.
And then you actually have to deliver, and you have to over-deliver to surprise them.
If you still don't believe that knowledge is important, here's a few more examples:
1. Know which foods are healthy.
2. Know which habits have the most impact.
3. Know the right people for the right things.
4. Know when to sell your stocks, or which stocks to invest in.
5. Know this one good friend that is always there for you.
6. Know the right techniques that can help you be creative.
7. Know the right moves so you can win money at chess tournaments.
8. Know how you can change your behavior to live a healthier life.
9. Know what your children need so you can help them grow up.
10. Know what that girl likes so you can impress her.
11. Know what you need to do to get accepted at this interview.
12. Know how to decide to survive this day.
13. Know that you have undiagnosed cancer.
14. Know how to solve this mathematical problem and win the international competition.
15. Know what products to avoid and which are going to save your life.

In other words, knowledge doesn't have to be true, but it has to be useful to you.
